Yes, in most cases. New Jersey law mandates that insurance carriers cover ABA therapy for children with an autism spectrum disorder diagnosis. Medicaid coverage also applies for eligible families. How soon can my child start receiving services?

Do you provide therapy in the home?
Yes. Headrise delivers in-home ABA services throughout New Jersey. Home-based therapy allows your child to build skills in a familiar, comfortable environment, which often leads to faster generalization of new behaviors and stronger outcomes.
What age groups do you serve?
We serve children ages 2 and up. Early intervention between ages 2 and 5 tends to yield the strongest outcomes, but ABA therapy can benefit children across a wide range of ages. We assess each child individually and build a personalized plan that meets them where they are developmentally.
Which insurance providers do you work with?
We are in-network with most major carriers and accept New Jersey Medicaid. Not sure about your plan? We’ll look into it for you — insurance verification is something we handle on your behalf, at no cost to you.
What should I expect after I reach out?
Within 24 hours, a Care Coordinator will be in touch. They will answer your questions, walk you through next steps, and begin working on your insurance verification right away. From that point forward, you have a dedicated point of contact at every stage of the process.
