ABA, or Applied Behavior Analysis, is a therapy that helps kids learn new skills and improve behaviors. It’s often used for autism support, but it can help with everything from communication to social skills.
Think of it as a way to break big goals into small, achievable steps, using positive reinforcement to make learning fun and effective!
We offer a myriad of services, depending on the needs of the child and the family. We offer school based or center based options, in addition to social skills groups.
It’s simple! We collect the relevant information and submit it to your insurance provider. Once approval is granted, we put together a treatment plan based on the thorough evaluation conducted by the BCBA. Upon approval, services begin.
Behavioral Therapists (BTs) work closely with clients, offering both group and individual therapy sessions tracking session details to monitor each child’s progress. Those who have earned the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential have earned that title by passing a specialized exam.
A BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) is a professional who applies principles of behavior analysis to help individuals improve various skills. They assess behavior, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions. BCBAs often work closely with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure the effectiveness of their interventions.
A typical ABA session involves a one-on-one interaction between a therapist and a child, focusing on specific learning goals, such as improving communication, social skills, or behavior. The therapist uses positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors and teaches skills through structured activities. Sessions often incorporate play and natural environments to ensure learning is engaging and functional.
